Zap! — After a 40-year hiatus, Captain Action returns to action in the pages of his very own comic book, published by our friends at Moonstone Comics! CAPTAIN ACTION #0 sets the stage in April 2008 with a whole new take on this classic hero written by master scribe Fabian Nicieza (X-Men, Thunderbolts) and art by famed cover artist Mark Sparacio (Liberty Girl, Overstreet Comics Price Guide)! If that's not enough, the issue will also have an alternative cover by super-artist Paul Gulacy (Master of Kung Fu, Batman: Prey)!

And if that's not enough, we'll also be publishing a classic CAPTAIN ACTION story in a brand new form: an illustrated mini-novel, or "novella," which combines novel-style text and fantastic illustration to bring us into the Captain's world! In FIRST MISSION, LAST DAY, Fabian Nicieza and illustrator Ruben Procopio (Moonstone's The Phantom, Batman Begins: The Movie and Other Tales of the Dark Knight) take us back to where it all began… in the 1960's, the original Captain Action takes on his first mission at the A.C.T.I.O.N.
